5. Arc Finders Chrome Extension
5.1 How the Extension Works
Arc Finders is a Chrome extension that helps you discover relevant Reddit conversations where people
describe problems your product solves. It uses AI to suggest authentic, rule-compliant replies and
launch posts.
5.2 Data Stored Locally
The following data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage.
We do not have access to this data:
- Your Google Gemini API Key: Stored locally and used only to communicate directly
with Google's Gemini API from your browser. We never see, collect, or transmit your API key.
- Extension Settings: Your configured sources (subreddits, search terms),
preferences, and content pipeline data
- Cached Reddit Data: Reddit posts and comments you browse through the extension,
cached locally for performance
- AI-Generated Content: Suggested replies and posts generated by the Gemini API,
stored locally until you choose to use or discard them
5.3 Data We Do NOT Collect from the Extension
We want to be explicitly clear about what we do not collect:
- Your Reddit username, password, or account credentials
- Your Reddit browsing history or activity
- Your Google Gemini API key
- The content of conversations you view or engage with
- The AI-generated replies or posts created for you
- Any usage telemetry or analytics from the extension
- Error reports or crash data from the extension
5.4 Third-Party API Calls from the Extension
The extension makes direct API calls from your browser to:
- Reddit's Public API: To fetch publicly available posts and comments from
subreddits you configure. These requests come from your browser and are subject to Reddit's
Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini API: To generate AI-powered reply suggestions and content
analysis, using your own API key. These requests are subject to Google's
Gemini API Terms of Service.
These API calls go directly from your browser to the respective services. They do not pass through
our servers.
5.5 No Auto-Posting
Arc Finders never posts to Reddit on your behalf automatically. All posting is
manual — you always review and submit content yourself through Reddit's interface. The extension only
suggests and helps you draft content.

disclosure, we process your personal data (collected via arcfinders.com) based on:
